Duncan Long

UKCP-accredited psychotherapist

I’m Duncan Long, a psychotherapist trained in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy. I work with individuals and couples, with particular experience supporting gay men and the wider LGBTQ+ community. I offer in-person counselling and psychotherapy in Brighton and St Leonards-on-Sea, serving the Hastings area, alongside online appointments.
My areas of interest include relationships, identity, anxiety, shame, self-esteem, addiction and chemsex. My experience includes a former role as a Chemsex Specialist Advisor with Controlling Chemsex.
My approach considers the whole person: your emotional life, relationships, and sense of identity and meaning. Regular clinical supervision and continuing professional development support my practice.
In my articles, I explore therapy, LGBTQ+ experiences, relationships and emotional wellbeing.
